I had purchased a 99 Honda Accord years ago, knowing one day I would need to rebuild the transmission. I drove my vehicle till it could hardly drive any longer.

I brought my car to Mark (Owner) in desperate need for it to be fixed. His honest and educational ways with cars immediately swept all my fears aside. He explained everything to me!

Prior to work, he would give me a call and go over every detail. Mark was incredibly informative, along with his honest and respectful employees.

Today, my car runs fantastic! No more check engine lights! No more ticking! No more dying at red lights! I feel as though I'm in a brand new vehicle.

I highly recommend this company, if you have any fear or doubt of being ripped off, look no more! Because he is one of the ONLY honest mechanics I have come across.

"Professional, courteous and honest in an age where customer service has been forgotten…"

I just wanted to take a moment to thank Mark and his staff at General Transmission for their help today. I spoke with Mark on the phone about my clutch possibly needing replacement. He told me to bring my truck down and he'd take it for a drive.

When I arrived he took my key and I expected to wait when he took it for a drive. He asked if I'd like to come along which I thought was very commendable as I could likely be spending quite a bit of money for the transmission work. Mark took the time to talk to me about my truck and my personal driving habits and gave me tips to prolong the life of the clutch.

I couldn't believe it when he said "We can just adjust it and get you more life out of it before replacement is needed." He spent a few minutes adjusting it and asked me to test it to make sure I was happy with it, which I was.

He gave me my keys and I asked how much I owed him he just kind of laughed and said "You don't owe me anything!" I was shocked he took the time necessary to help me out, was professional, courteous and honest in an age where customer service has been forgotten.

He told me I could bring the crew a box of doughnuts sometime and that'd be okay. Well you guys definitely won a customer today and the box of doughnuts will be there on Monday!
